Back-to-School Safety and Community Awareness
Published: August 19, 2025
As a new school year begins, we’d like to take a moment to remind everyone about a few important safety and community guidelines to help keep our neighborhood safe and thriving.
School Zone & Traffic Safety
• Please drive slowly and remain alert for children walking or biking to and from school.
• Watch carefully at crosswalks and bus stops.
• Avoid parking near intersections or blocking school bus access points.
Parking Courtesy
• Do not block driveways, mailboxes, or hydrants.
• If parking on the street, please park in the direction of traffic to help keep roads clear and safe.
🐾 Neighborhood Awareness
• Keep pets on leashes and clean up after them, especially near school walking routes.
• Be mindful of noise during early mornings and evenings as families adjust to new routines.
Community Spirit
• Take a moment to welcome new neighbors who may be joining our community this school year.
• Consider lending a helping hand—whether watching out for kids walking home, sharing back-to-school supplies, or supporting community events.
Let’s work together to create a safe and supportive environment for our children and families this school year. Thank you for helping make our community a great place to live!
