Street Parking and Accessibility in Ellington Woods

Published: September 12, 2025

As a reminder, the streets within Ellington Woods are public and maintained by the City of Dallas. Recently, concerns have been raised regarding parking that affects normal accessibility to homes.

To help ensure the community remains safe and accessible, please keep the following in mind:

• Avoid blocking driveways or mailboxes. Vehicles should be parked in a manner that does not interfere with homeowners’ property access.
• Do not restrict traffic flow. Cars parked on both sides of the street can make it difficult for larger vehicles (including emergency services, sanitation trucks, and delivery vehicles) to pass through.
• Respect fire lanes and no-parking zones. These areas must remain clear at all times for safety.
• When possible, use your driveway or garage. Limiting street parking helps reduce congestion and improves visibility for drivers and pedestrians.
• Report persistent issues. Since Ellington Woods streets are public, enforcement falls under the City of Dallas. You may contact 3-1-1 or use the City’s online portal to report violations or concerns.

We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in keeping Ellington Woods safe and accessible for all residents. Your efforts make a big difference in maintaining the quality and safety of our community.

If you have any questions, please reach out to the HOA management team.
