Spring is in the air, and with it comes fresh energy and a renewed opportunity to care for our homes, yards, and neighborhood. As we welcome the warmer months, please take a moment to review these helpful reminders and tips to keep Ellington Woods beautiful, safe, and enjoyable for all.
Lawn Maintenance Tips
A healthy lawn helps maintain curb appeal and overall property value. Here are a few tips for spring upkeep:
• Mow regularly and keep grass trimmed to appropriate height.
• Edge sidewalks and driveways for a neat appearance.
• Remove weeds and refresh mulch in flower beds.
• Water early in the morning or evening to prevent evaporation.
Planning Exterior or Landscape Changes? Submit an ACC Request!
Before starting any exterior home or yard improvement—whether it’s a new fence, patio, landscaping, or paint color—residents must submit an Architectural Control Committee (ACC) request for review and approval. This ensures all changes comply with community guidelines and help maintain a consistent neighborhood aesthetic.
Be a Good Neighbor
Our sense of community is built on mutual respect and consideration. Please remember:
• Keep noise levels reasonable, especially during evenings and early mornings.
• Store trash and recycling bins promptly after pickup.
• Park only in designated areas and avoid blocking sidewalks or driveways.
